I actually *work* on Beyblade, and I still LOVE this.

Speedo responds:

woah what haha

Really sorry I didn't catch this sooner, beacuase

...you both did a great job with this tribute, and watching it genuinely nearly brought a tear to my eye.

Over the past year it's been extremely humbling to have seen so many people get so much enjoyment out of Mick's flash, and few things make me smile more than seeing something I've worked on inspire people to create works of their own. I wish the best of luck to you and Paul with all of your future productions.

Sketchy responds:

Thank you very much D-Mac, I'm pleased you like it. I also hope to see more work from you too haha :)

Well this was just outright amazing.

Certainly the most unique spin on the NG collab formula I've even seen, and there wasn't a single part that I wasn't impressed by.

AlmightyHans responds:

thanks d-mac... i like your hat.

Very well done!

Fun concept with a very clean presentation, and some great lipsyncing work! Pacing could've been a little more upbeat around the beginning, but I still enjoyed this a lot overall.

The easter egg was grand, though to a point where it could've easily fit as the last scene in the main animation itself. This led to the origin of the blooper line confusing me for a bit, as I played it before watching the actual easter egg scene.

Heh, I see Mr. Tomar was not too fond of his "evil" laugh. Though, in an odd twist, I found it perfectly befitting of a Grim Reaper... who's not meant to be taken seriously!

Hearing Francine Louise in this was also a very pleasant surprise! Excellent delivery from Fran in all her roles, and I'm glad that Josh recommended her to ya, as the idea totally slipped my mind.

And thus, congratulations on winning a daily award with your very first NG submission! You certainly deserved it, and I'm really looking forward to seeing more flash work from you in the future!

Evilcactus responds:

Thanks for the review D-Mac!

Oh, snaaaaap!

Do mine eyes deceive me? A Phoenix Wright flash winning a Daily Award?!!?
IT'S ABOUT FREAKING TIME. :D

I quite enjoyed this, and it had much better lip-synching than the last.

If you do another PW-based thing, I'd actually sorta like to see you write the scenes from scratch, and possibly get some voice actors from the VA Club to read 'em. Though that'd make for an entirely different, and unfortunately, more coherent style of flash. So maybe not. ;_;

Regardless of whether you change the format or not, I demand MORE PW flashes, even if it's just one! o_o

And use the English "OBJECTION!" text for goodness sakes! A large .gif of it is one of the emoticons on the Croik/PW site forums. =P

AshfordPride responds:

There will be another! And I've already got someone from the VA Club to read some skits. But don't worry, it will still be as random and crazy as ever.

I don't think I'm going to use the objection text anymore anyway. I'm going back to the gavel.

This could've, nay, -should've- been really good.

I think you absolutely nailed it on the art and animation. Nailed it. But when you make a flash adaptation of a comic, something that relies -fully- upon its dialogue, then its an absolute must that the vocal delivery of said dialogue be very solid.

Sadly, the vocal performances here just weren't up to par, and that's the reason why this flash's score is currently hovering around 3.50, and not a 4.00

First squirrel's recording quality was noticably below the others, and sounded much more southerner than african-american. Huge shame, because he spoke the most. Other voices were just somewhat decent from my point of view.

Sorry if I come off as harsh, but it's all too often and disappointing when well-animated flashes like this don't get high scores due to this reason.

For your next voiced release, I highly recommend looking up the "Voice Acting Alliance Forums" on Google. They're a very talented bunch who'll help you out for free. Or, uh, ask me. I'm good too. o_o

Better luck next time, and I look forward to your next animation.

The-Nut86 responds:

Thanks man, your critique on the audio has been the only useful one yet. In retrospect, I should've worked more on the voice; guess I was too eager to get this done. Thanks again dude :)

Get my voice. k?

Not bad in terms of humor, and I liked the blooper joke, with the actual "blooper" enemy. Clever. =)

Okay graphics. Not special, but not bad.

The voices for Wario and Waluigi just couldn't cut it at all though, in terms of both imitation quality, and sound quality.

If you ever do anything using them again, I highly suggest you contact me and have me do the voice acting for you, as I'm able to handle Wario, Waluigi, Mario and Luigi.
(I'm the guy who voiced "Christmas Greeting" by Yoshi-1up)

Childlike-Spector responds:

In all truth I wasn't aiming to immitate his voice but create his own. Waluigi hasn't had very many speaking roles in his carreer, I couldn't find any clips of him talking so I made his voice up. Wario didn't have a speaking role. Ironicly the man who plays Mario's voice in the real videogames also did Luigi's Wario's and Waluigi's too, are you that guy? XD

Pretty good!

Hey there, Shun! I thought this turned out very well, and I think your artwork and animation has gotten noticeably better since Snake Eater Chronics 02.

Heh heh, so far I'm the only one who's noticed "The Brood" theme from the WWF/WWE in there for a short while. Awesome song choice.

TripleArrow also did an excellent job as Phil, but it's important that you be careful with volume control, as the thunder sound effects made it very hard to hear what he was saying at times.

Other than that, a great submission, and I look forward to your next one!

(Note to my religious peeps: You don't need to let yourself be offended by this flash, it's harmless. And you're hearing this from ME, the guy who's been called "Reverend" at school. =P )

SaintShun responds:

Hey dude, thanks for the review, damn and i did lower the thunder a hell down, oh well , what can one do huh?, dude contact me on AIM, i have a role of an action serie that you might want, that will be my first full lenght fbf animation.

Please...

I'm really lovin' the style used here. Heh heh. I always enjoy seeing that film noir-type feel used in flash.

But I find it worth noting that not ALL clock movies need to have those lousy digitized speakonia voices. It'll often just lower the score of your flash, unnecessarily.
Heck, "Lord of The Clocks" and "Broken Clocks" used real voice acting and they both got awesome scores.

None the less I'm still hoping you make a series of this, and if you do, please don't hesitate to ask myself or NG's Voice Acting Club on the BBS for help. Lots of great talent there, and we'd love to be of assistance. Plus, 1920s/30s type voices are one of my specialties. =)

BoulderClock responds:

Ill remember that, thanks buddy

Good for what it was. =)

Very impressive art/animation. Shame it couldn't have been finished, but I'm always glad to see more StarFox in the portal, which there isn't enough of. StarFox 64 is my favourite N64 game, after all.

You did all the voices yourself, I'm assuming? Not bad, I must say. I liked your job with Falco, though others like Andross coulda been a bit better.

I'd gladly help you out with voicing if you made another SF flash, as I'm highly experienced with it, so don't hesitate to call upon me or other members of NG's Voice Acting Club, if you wish.
Regardless, you're quite talented, and I greatly anticipate your next flash.

AlmightyHans responds:

yea, i thought about that too, i wanted to make a video game parody, i really hate video game parodies if you ask me. but i thought, well everyone seems to like them. and since copying off a video game isnt original, i wanted to be a little more original so i used a video game that happened to almost be untouched, and apparantly was one of my favorite games. i completely agree, STARFOX 64 is THE BEST starfox game!

Why, yes, I was the "Dot Dot Dot" voice man, Rockoon from TOME and Vile the purple "Reincarnation" demon. I worked on the teevee since 2006, but for years, only Newgrounds artists gave me a chance to try things. I am also Hedgehog from That Hedgehog Show.
